BL-3 Hot Semi-Permanent

DESCRIPTION:
BL-3 is a unique, semi-permanent release agent designed for application to flexible mold surfaces, as well as normal metal molds. It gives quick, easy release of the part and remains on the mold through many molding cycles. |

|
|
BENEFITS:
Very effective for halogenated or peroxide-cured elastomers.
Multiple releases.

PROPERTIES:
BL-3 can be applied to mold surfaces that are below 200°F at the time of application.
BL-3 HOT can be applied to mold surfaces that above 200°F at the time of application. |

|
APPLICATION PROCEDURES:
BL-3 can be applied by spray, brush, or wipe. Clean, rinse, and dry mold thoroughly. Apply two (2) coats of BL-3 allowing 3 to 5 minutes between coats. Cure at press temperature for 3 to 5 minutes. Reapply one coat of BL-3 as needed. |

HANDLING:
BL-3 is supplied in solvent solution -- no ozone-depleting chemicals. Use with adequate ventilation. Keep away from heat, sparks, or open flame. Avoid prolonged or repeated breathing of vapors. Avoid prolonged or repeated skin contact. Keep closed when not in use. |

BL-3 is supplied in 1 gallon, 5 gallon and 55 gallon containers. |
