New Molds:
- Clean, rinse and dry mold surface.
- Wipe on one coat, making sure to leave a thin, even, wet coat on the surface.
- Wipe on a second coat within 1-2 hours. There is no need to polish the mold after application -- simply wipe on FRP 1923 WB and allow to dry. If the second coat is applied after 2 hours, it may become necessary to polish the mold using a soft, cotton cloth if the surface has become difficult to wet.
Seasoned Molds:
- Clean, rinse and dry mold surface.
- Wipe on one coat making sure to leave a thin, even, wet coat on the surface.
Curing:
- Allow molds to air dry 30 minutes before use. Longer dry time may increase the number of releases.
