DESCRIPTION:
RR 1381 WB is a silicone resin emulsion, semi-permanent release. RR 1381 WB gives outstanding results in very tough release applications. Applied to a clean mold, it forms a smooth, continuous film with good adhesion to the mold surface. (Not for silicone rubber application). |
BENEFITS:
Multiple releases -- gives increased productivity.
No transfer -- post-finishing problems virtually eliminated.
No knit lines, cracks, or splits -- low scrap rate.
Very low build-up -- more production time between mold cleanings.
No VOC's or ODC's present -- carrier is water only.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES:
RR 1381 WB can be applied by spray, brush, or wipe. The best method is a fine mist spray. Clean, rinse, and dry mold thoroughly. Reinstall in press and heat to operating temperature. Apply two or three light coats of RR 1381 WB about one minute apart with a fine mist applicator. Let it bake a short time at mold temperature -- one minute minimum (5 to 10 would maximize the number of releases). Repeat as needed, using one light coat. |

HANDLING:
RR 1381 WB should be stored at temperatures below 90°F. Protect from freezing. |
